Understanding School Photo Sizes

It would be great if every school photography company used the same size photos in their photo packs, but unfortunately they don't!

Although school photography companies don't all use the same photo sizes, we've found the following sizes to be quite commonly included in school photo packs:

What if my photos are smaller?

Some photography companies, particularly MSP Photography, provide very small photos measuring approximately 3 x 4.5 cm.

These photos can still be used in our Small and Medium frame ranges. Simply request the Alternative Matting Option in the comments section when placing your order.

What if my photos are slightly different in size?

No problem.

For many of our larger frames, we can adjust the matting openings to suit slightly smaller photos such as 5 x 7.5 cm.

In most cases, there is no additional charge, provided the adjustment fits within our standard frame layouts.  Please contact us if you have any queries about your photo sizes.

What if my photos are completely different sizes?

We can often create a custom frame layout.

Simply contact us with:

• Your photo sizes
• The number of photos required
• Your preferred frame style

We'll let you know what options are available.

Changing Schools or Photography Companies?

If your school changes photography providers, or your child moves schools, don't worry.

Photos can often be resized and reprinted through companies such as Officeworks, or even at home using a digital file. You can even do this yourself, read our Easy DIY Guide to Resizing School Photos at home.

Whenever possible, order the digital download of your child's school portrait.

Having the digital file means you can reprint your photos in virtually any size, giving you complete flexibility both now and in the future.
